How Fonora works.
No new device.
Fonora calls the phone that is already there, landline or mobile. No app, no internet. Just pick up.
The conversation.
Fonora says hello, asks about the day and picks up on what was shared last time. The garden, the old job, the songs from back then. No quiz questions, and nothing gets corrected.
The family portal.
After every call you read a short summary, not a transcript. Over time it grows into a life story.
Frequently asked questions
Does my mother need a smartphone or internet?
No. Fonora calls the phone she has used for years, landline or mobile. No new device, no app, no internet.
Does this replace my calls?
No, and it should not. Fonora is there for the days you cannot call, and for the many in between. Nobody replaces your voice.
Does she know that Fonora is an AI?
Yes. At the start of every call, Fonora introduces itself as a digital companion. We never pretend to be human.
Is Fonora an emergency service?
No. Fonora is there for everyday conversations. If you mainly want to cover emergencies, a home emergency call system is the right addition.
When does it start?
We cannot give a date today, and we would rather be honest about that. Sign up above and you will hear from us as soon as Fonora launches.
